I moved to South West Florida in 1990 directly from Germany. South West Florida became my new home very fast. People are nice, friendly and there for each other. And there are a lot of activities for the young and the old. Did you know that the average age in Cape Coral is only 42 years old?

Since 1994 I am a full time Realtor with Century 21 in Cape Coral. I have seen the market changing to the bad and to the good. I have seen Interst Rates all the way up to 18% and all the way down to 2.5 %. I have seen properties totally over valued and totally undervalued.

As the Market was overvalued in 2005 it is undervalued in 2009. However we are seeing changes, we are on the edge from a buyer's market to a seller's market right now. We have more properties being sold than coming new on the market, we are seeing multiple offers on individual properties and all this combined is bringing prices up and inventory down.

If you are in the market to purchase Real Estate in South West Florida - now is time to do so.  I strongly feel that the prices will jump up again or may be even explode in very near future.
